Where to eat in Brussels

1. L'Objective (Hotel Silken Berlaymont) : What to order --- Curled endive with Roquefort cheese, dried duck filet, and poach QUAIL egg, creamy dressing, pine nuts, and croutons; Duo of lobster and shrimps croquettes with fried kale for a starter; Roasted quail stuffed with wild mushrooms, celeriac puree, caramelized chicory; My main dish: risotto with mushrooms and nuts, steamed cod fish with lots of tarragon and leeks emulsion; Limoncello zabaglione with pieces of pear; Crusty chocolate cake (mousse), vanilla cream, mango sauce, raspberry crust and PERUVIAN CHERRY with figs.

3. Meat Me Brasserie : What to order --- Haddock and pastrami with red onion sauce; Grilled veal with sun-dried tomatoes and parmesan, served on top of lentils; Leg of ham with raspberry-beer sauce, potato and carrot mash; Warm pear pie with blue cheese: a new challenge for my tasting buds.
