Mini roasted pear creme brulee tarts



Mini roasted pear creme brulee tarts. These are my new "sweet dreams" creations. The flaky pastry, the pastry cream, and the caramelized pears make the perfect marriage. Add a little almond-chocolate bark and you are ready for the ultimate indulgence! Serve with hot tea for a special treat :)

Mini chicken meat loaves

All American dinner: mini chicken meat loaves (filled with mushrooms, onions, panko, ketchup, egg, and ground chicken), mashed potatoes, and flaky biscuit. No leftovers! It was prepared just as it should be!

Flaky Buttermilk Biscuits. This was my first time making biscuits at home. The results were unbelievable. The texture was so soft and the layers created by the butter were professional. My husband loved them and requested them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Chicken cutlets with lemon-caper sauce



Chicken cutlets with lemon-caper thick sauce on a bed of white and red rice blend. The poultry was so soft and lemony, while the rice was nutty and earthy. Lovely combination of flavors.

Coconut-chocolate cookies



I developed this cookie recipe for my husband who loves coconut and chocolate chips. A wonderful mid-morning snack, these coconut-choco cookies are full with healthy fats :)

Crispy pork tenderloin with Dijon-panko crust



Crispy pork tenderloin (call it a schnitzel), made with Dijon mustard and panko breadcrumbs. Rustic style mashed potatoes with parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar reduction. Classic food with a modern twist.

Shrimp, pine nuts, and parmesan-creamy house spaghetti



Shrimp, pine nuts, and parmesan-creamy spaghetti. The white sauce is a variety of bechamel. The addition of pine nuts provides crunchiness. Our fresh pasta is out-of- this world good :)

Tilapia-Tapenade Sandwiches



Tilapia-Tapenade Sandwiches. The mixture of kalamata olives, feta cheese, and roasted red peppers, creates a fabulous bed for a grilled tilapia a la provencal and slices of juicy tomatoes. To round it, crunchy oven fries and organic ketchup. My pecan-oat bread is the perfect canvas :) Sunday brunch can not be better than that!

Sirloin Steak Tips with Mushroom Gravy. Served on a bed of home-made fresh linguine pasta. Umami taste, hearty texture, and silky aftertaste. We were in heaven!

Home-made strawberry frozen yogurt



Home-made strawberry frozen yogurt, served with almond-chocolate bark with sea salt. Very tasty and refreshing. Perfect mid-week dessert :)
